is the ddns step required? i am not in USA and just followed the other youtube clip by changing the dns on my apple tv box under my ‘wifi’ configuration as per the Express vpn page. it seems to work. should i have created a ddns first?

I believe with ExpressVPN, they only have US servers.

I have ExpressVPN for my other devices. Wondering if I can skip the step getting a DDNS ? I live in the Virgin Islands and have an ATT Home wireless internet router base with its own IP address.
Second question, if I do get the DDNS will that affect my iPad and phones when I connect to my internet ?

You use the same DNS for both devices. It’s not a “connection” so much as it is a certain pathway that you’re directing the Apple TV.
